I'm working on setting up the online shop so that individuals can purchase memoirs online through drop shipping directly from our printer. The project launched on my birthday--and my ID's all expired. So I'm just waiting on that to come in so that I can confirm I'm a real living human in order to process orders. Until then, I'm unable to open the shop. There is still a way to purchase a book in the meantime, scroll down to find out how!

Important Notes:

1. There are no profits from the purchase of these books. All proceeds go directly to paying the cost of printing, shipping and platform fees (once Strip has been confirmed.) We are not a registered Not For Profit (at this time) and therefore, cannot accept donations at this time. It is our goal to become a NFP organisation in the future, so stay tuned. You can however, become a Sponsor and/or Community Partner for the next round of memoirs in 2025/26. Please contact me if you are interested in becoming one.

2. This project prioritizes the participants in the project regarding how their memoirs are sold. Each participant provides specific consent regarding where and how their book is sold. This is done for a number of reasons, whether for safety or otherwise, regardless of the reason, autonomy over our stories is fundamental to this project and we will not compromise on this. For the memoir collection V.1 (2023/24) not all participants have consented to have their memoir available to be sold internationally, and therefore The History We Made: Bringing Your Stories Home V. 1 will only be available for purchase within Canada.

3. We will not be using PayPal to receive payments due to their continued support of Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine. Palestinians are not able to use PayPal despite their Israeli neighbours' being able to. Until PayPal changes this policy, we will not be using it.

4. We recognise that Wix is on the boycott list of shame and I am actively working towards moving this website to a platform that is not invested in the illegal Israeli Apartheid. This change will happen before the end of the year 2024.
